Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of butter softened
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of crushed candy canes
  • 24 Hershey’s Kisses unwrapped
  • Optional: Red and white sprinkles for additional decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Scoop 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden and the cookies are soft in the center.
  • Remove cookies from the oven and gently press an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Immediately sprinkle crushed candy canes over the cookies.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
