Step-by-Step Instructions
Cook the oats – In a medium saucepan, bring milk or water to a simmer. Stir in oats, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Simmer gently – Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender and creamy (about 5 minutes).
Add cranberries – Stir in cranberries during the last 2–3 minutes of cooking. If using dried cranberries, add them earlier so they plump up.
