Ingredients
  

  • 6 large potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Grease the Crockpot. Layer sliced potatoes and top with cheese sauce mixture (sour cream, soup, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper).
  • Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Stir and garnish with green onions (optional) before serving.
