Crockpot Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 14.5 oz green beans, drained (or 4 cups fresh or frozen green beans)
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (or use cream of chicken for variation)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional, for a cheesy version
  • 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions reserve half for topping
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Grease the Crockpot and add the green beans.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the green beans and stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  • Stir in half of the crispy fried onions about 30 minutes before serving.
  • Top with the remaining fried onions and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
